Another Quick Rice Dish - Gongura/Ambada/Sour Greens Tomato Rice

My tomato plants are making so many tomatoes.. these days.. no matter how many I use, I always seem to have more :) This is an interesting variation of the
Easy Green Peas and Tomato rice that I had posted earlier.

The only thing I added extra here is the Gongura/Sour greeds/Ambada leaves. Add 1/2 cup leaves and remove 1 tomato.. from the proportions of the other recipe. Add them in while the tomatoes are cooking. After its done, add the washed rice and saute a little.Transfer everything to the rice cooker and cook . (Rice:Water ratio - 1:1.5 )It was very delicious.. And the guys loved it..

This recipe goes to Srivalli's Rice Mela Event @ Cooking 4 All Seasons.
