This is the most famous fried snack.. that never goes out of style. It needs very few common ingredients, is relatively quick and easy to make and is absolutely yummy..
Ingredients:
Potatoes (sliced into about 1/4 in thick pieces)
Gram Flour (Besan)
Chilli powder per taste
Salt as per taste
Oil for deep frying
Process:
Mix the besan, salt, chilli powder and add water to it so that you have a thick, smooth, running consistency.. Its hard to explain in works.. If the batter is too thick, add some water.. and add some gram flour if its too runny. Dip the pototo slices in the batter and drop them into hot oil ..and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup or chutney..or just by itself.. Enjoy !
