Baby Corn Black-Eyed Peas Gravy/Alasandala Masala

Here is a quick.. yummy dish with Black eyed peas. Its tasty, nutritious and a good addition to a potluck dinner..


Ingredients:
1 can Baby Corn
1 1/2 Cups Black Eyed peas (frozen/dried ones)
2 tomatoes (medium , chopped finely)
1 onion (medium, chopped finely)
3 cloves
Garam Masala as per taste
salt as per taste
chilli powder as per taste
Process:
If using uncooked dry/fresh ones, cook the Black eyed peas in a pressure cooker.
In a wide pan, add some oil, add cloves, chopped onion, saute for a few minutes. Add chopped tomato, baby corn, saute, add salt, chilli powder, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add the cooked black eyed peas, adjust salt, chilli powder , add garam masala as per taste.. Let it simmer for about 7-10 minutes. Turn off the heat. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.

Pretty yummy..Serve with Naan/Chapathi/ Puri or Rice. Enjoy !!
