Potato Fry

Serves: 4-5 people

Oil 3-4 Tbsp
Onions 2 large

Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp (add more if you want it spicier)
Potatoes - 4 medium sized
cloves - 3
cardamom - 2
salt - add as per taste
Fresh Cilantro for garnish

Use the microwave "Potato" setting and cook the potatoes. Meanwhile, use a wide frying pan, add about 3-4 Tbsp oil. Add cloves and cardamom to it, then add finely chopped onions. Let them fry until they are golden brown in color stirring frequently so they fry evenly. Peel and then cut the cooked potatoes about half to one inch pieces. When the onions are golden brown, add the salt and chilli powder. Stir and add the potato pieces to it.. and let them fry until done. Garnish with cilantro and serve with Rice or Roti.
